Christian Education Team

All children and youth are welcome at St. Paul’s. We provide the following programs:

Newborns to 4 years of age are invited to our nursery on Sundays between 10:15 to 11:30 am.

Children 4 to 7 years of age are invited to attend our Sunday School program, provided during our worship service (10:30 to 11:30 am). Spark is a Bible-based Sunday school curriculum designed to activate children’s faith while also having fun. Currently, we are using the Lectionary program, and have rotating leadership providing programming. We regularly have a story from the Bible, an activity page and craft that relates to the Bible story.

Our youth (8 to 14 years of age) have a “youth rap” session from 10:05 to 10:25 am. during the school year, which promotes learning, discovering and growing their faith.

In 2015 we will be looking at ‘hidden treasures’ found in the book of Proverbs. The children, youth and leaders will discover the Bible; focusing on videos, games and activities to learn life-long lessons as well as discovering our Ancestors in the New Testament.

To help integrate the youth to the adult Worship Service, they are encouraged to assist with the sound board on a rotating basis, if they are interested. This also helps them accumulate Community Service hours.

Together with Camp Kintail, St. Paul’s is hosting Vacation Bible School during the week of August 10-14, 2015. Vacation Bible School runs daily from 8:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and is offered to all children and youth ages 4 to 12 years of age. The program will have sessions on nature; arts and crafts; music and drama; games and camp fires with trained leaders. We will also have some outside excursions, depending on the interests of the children and youth.

We look forward to welcoming all God’s children to share in the life of St. Paul’s.
